(More customer reviews)A great replacement for the OEM heater resitor. If your fan speed dial only works on one or two settings, it is more than likely this part has gone bad. If you are somewhat mechanically capable, this is not a terribly hard thing to replace, however, patience is the word. A couple tips: remove the passenger side seat, so you can lay on your back, with your head under the glovebox area. Remove the blower motor (very easy) and then you can see the resistor all the way up against the firewall. You will need some torx head drivers for the sccrews: If memory serves, the one screw in the front, (closest to you) comes completely out, while the back screws only need to be unscrewed partially, as the mounting tabs on the resistor itself are slotted. You really have to play around, and wiggle the tools around to get the back screws. Just be persistent, and do not lose your cool. It can be done!
