I had to call the company and compare item numbers to figure that out.
Also, the company could not tell me the width of the pole (not height) but in case you are wondering, it will not fit inside of a preexisting hole in a boat (regular size).
I was able to retro fit the light to my existing pole.
I haven't tried the light yet, I just give it 1 star for the confusing listing descrip.
