(More customer reviews)Spend a little more and get some other type of switch. Not only this one is hard to install but it will fail after 6 month or so. I had two of them installed on my porsche and it killed my alternator and failed after 4 month. As for my recommendation, there are few alternatives even on amazon

or if don't race the car you don't need the remote kill switch just get this one easy to install and will work for years i have both, just causei need to but this one has been installed for 6 years without any problems and this one will keep your alarm and clock settings on but you will blow out ten of the fuses till you start to remember that you need to turn it before you start the car. and in a real world this works better then any alarm you can buy just cause it's so simpleBattery-Disconnect Switch - Will Fit Both Side Post and Top Post
