(More customer reviews)When my eight-year-old UPS recently failed during a power fluctuation, I assumed it was time get a new one.Later, though, I learned about these replacement batts and decided to give one a try.It's a simple remove-and-replace operation.Switch the unit off and unplug it.Remove a couple screws to open the housing, and disconnect two wires from the old battery with needle-nose pliars.Connect the new battery and carefully reassemble the unit.It takes five minutes.
This genuine replacement battery restored my Tripp-Lite UPS to its original condition.Don't wait for yours to fail like I did.Install one of these new batteries every five years or so.
